Seat matrix and allotments answer different questions

A seat matrix lists seats offered under the publication’s rules and scope. An allotment result records assignments made during a round. Counting historical allotments does not reconstruct the current matrix: candidates may upgrade, vacate or be assigned across several rounds.

RankGood does not currently host a verified 2026 seat matrix. Use the latest official publication; historical results should not be read as current seat availability.

Check the exact publication

  1. Confirm the counselling authority, academic session, course and round.
  2. Check the notice date and whether a revised matrix supersedes it.
  3. Match institute, course/degree, quota and allotted-seat category.
  4. Read additions, withdrawals, conversion rules and accompanying corrigenda.
  5. Check whether a vacancy is clear, virtual or conditional under that round’s instructions.

Keep eligibility separate from availability

A listed seat does not establish that every candidate can select it. Domicile, institutional, minority, service, PwD or other requirements can apply. For the existing UP predictor, government results follow the owner-supplied state-quota eligibility rules; official current instructions still take precedence.

Where to verify

MCC PG Medical Counselling (opens in a new tab) publishes central counselling material. Use the Uttar Pradesh authority for state counselling. The official-source directory links to the relevant portals.

Save the original dated PDF while researching. If an official current matrix is supplied later, its use within the predictor will require a separately reviewed change.
